Deutsche Bank volunteers visit Look Ahead’s homelessness service in Westminster

Last Friday, volunteers from investment bank, Deutsche Bank spent the day volunteering at Look Ahead’s homelessness service in Westminster.

Volunteers helped to re-paint the communal lounges

The volunteers spent their time helping to build wooden planters to go in the service’s courtyard creating a more welcoming and relaxing environment for customers to spend time in. We are looking forward to soil and plants for the planters arriving soon.

As well as helping in the garden, they also painted the service’s communal lounges which are used for monthly house meetings and a variety of communal activities including ping pong and pool.

Wendy Rowley, Look Ahead Volunteer Manager said ‘We are really grateful to the team from Deutsche Bank for their support with this project. As an organisation, we rely on the support of hundreds of volunteers each year to enhance our services. Improving the garden courtyard area and communal lounge will really make a difference to our customers.’
