Look Ahead and Chapmanbdsp staff embark on The London Walk

On Saturday 19 March, Look Ahead staff took part in The London Walk, organised by the London Homeless Collective (LHC), raising ever-important funds for our homelessness services.

The London Walk aims to raise £100,000 in its inaugural year, every penny of which will go towards supporting the work of the London Homeless Collective members, including Look Ahead.

The Look Ahead team kicked off at 9pm on Saturday in Trafalgar Square at the HQ of The Connection at St Martin’s, another LHC member. They marched the streets of London through to daybreak, completing 26.2 miles each!

The team were also joined by four members of the team at Chapmanbdsp, who also fundraised for Look Ahead. Chapmanbdsp is an independent design consultancy specialising in building services engineering and environmental design. Look Ahead is delighted to have been selected as their charity of the year.

So far, the team have raised £3740 by taking part in The London Walk. You can help us make a difference to people experiencing homelessness in London by donating below.

The London Homeless Collective is a movement of more than 25 charities that help people experiencing homelessness in London. Together, each of the member charities reflect the needs and diversity of the city.

Some are committed to campaigning and housing rights, while others focus on outreach in local communities, or supporting groups with specific needs.

Collectively, the group shares ideas, experience, and opportunities, and work together to ensure that nobody is left behind. Learn more here.

Look Ahead works with around 6,000 of the most vulnerable people in the UK. Whether they have been street homeless for many years, isolated due to poor mental health or a care leaver with no family, many of our customers have no one else in their lives. Often we are their only support.
