Look Ahead’s AnyBODY Can Dance project reached the finals of the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards.

The therapeutic dance programme made the shortlist for the Sporting Chance category at the awards, which are run by Care Talk. AnyBODY Can Dance was recognised for its role in providing individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism receiving support from Look Ahead with opportunities to engage in physical activity, exercise and socialise through dance workshops and performances.

The project was represented at the ceremony at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham by Look Ahead staff and volunteers involved with the project.

Making it to the finals of a national set of awards for the second year running is a tremendous achievement and it speaks volumes about the impact we continue to have in the lives of the people Look Ahead supports.”
