Mental Health Care Research

Published: 7th July 2022
Do you work in mental health? Are you involved in commissioning services for young people experiencing a mental health crisis? Or do you have a personal experience of a child/young person having a mental health crisis?

Thanks to funding from the Wates Family Enterprise Trust, we’ve commissioned some research to quantify the need for community-based provisions for young people who are in mental health crisis.
The research, which is being conducted independently by Care Research, will review the evidence and recommend new and innovative services that better support young people with acute mental ill health.

Care Research is currently seeking views from health and social care professionals involved in commissioning or working on children and young people’s crisis provision in London and the South East. We are also looking for people with lived experience in this area.

If you are interested in contributing your views, please complete one of the questionnaires below. It takes just a few minutes and we’d really appreciate it! In addition, if you’d like to take part in an interview you can express your interest at the bottom of the form.

The report will published in the autumn and we hope it will help inform policy and decision making.
