We know that the spread of Coronavirus has affected all and we still continue to live with it. As an organisation, we are following government advice and taking proactive measures to reduce the impact on both our customers and staff.
During local and national lockdowns, Look Ahead will continue to provide as many of our services to our customers as we can, including safeguarding, quality assurance, regulatory and building safety. For the most up to date government guidance, please visit https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.
Your Support
Our staff are here to support you. So that we can continue to deliver safe services and appropriate advice, information and support we ask that you let your Support Worker or Housing Officer know the following:
- If you have symptoms of Coronavirus such as a high temperature and/or a new persistent cough and/or a loss of smell and/or taste
- Are within a high risk group over 70, pregnant or have an underlying health condition
Our staff are still continuing to provide the same level of support or service to our customers. All welfare checks and estate visits will continue unless it is not safe to do so. In these circumstances, a member of staff will be in contact remotely via phone, text or video call if you’ve agreed its ok.
All of our staff and contractors are fully equipped with the latest Health and Safety guidance, training and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Look Ahead are supporting staff and customers to get access to the Covid-19 vaccine. In our services, staff, customers, professional visitors, contractors and other permitted visitors will be asked to undertake safety measures such as social distancing and wearing a mask so that all can be safe.
Visitor Policy
All of our services have individual guidance around how visitors can safely visit the site to ensure it is Covid secure. Please speak to the service manager or a member of staff if you are unsure about the policy in your service.
