This year in Partnership: The Look Ahead 2019 Annual Review

Published: 5th August 2019
We are pleased to present the 2019 Annual Review, with a look at the past year in numbers, visuals, and most importantly, stories from around the organisation.

As we we work with people to make choices, achieve their goals and take control of their lives, partnership is key. This involves partnership with our customers, staff, social care, community organisations and so many more.

Firstly, we’d like to recognise all of our partners highlighted in this review. Thank you to Clarion Housing, Choir With No Name, Kent Vulnerability Investigation Team, Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust Crisis Team, and the many partners internally and externally that we work with day to day.

While we proudly share our numbers in this report, it’s the stories of lives changed truly demonstrate our successes over the past year. Chris Hampson, Look Ahead Chief Executive shares “Whilst partnership has always been key to Look Ahead, it is in this context that collaboration becomes even more crucial, and we know this can look very different across our 115 services.

“We do not do the work we do in isolation. It is often said that it takes a village to raise a child and here at Look Ahead we truly believe it takes a community to support those in need. A community we are proud to show you through this year’s review.

The year in numbers

  • 6,386 number of customers served across our services ranging from learning disabilities, mental health, homelessness and complex needs, young people and care leavers
  • 13 new servoces
  • 92% CQC services rated good or outstanding
  • 100% of our team leaders internally promoted
  • 73 staff completed ILM training

…and many more.

We are proud of the work that we do and most importantly, the lives that we impact along the way. We’ll be sharing more with you in the coming weeks with the stories of partnership, so keep an eye out for more!
