Companies such as CRASH, Lehman Brothers, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Chubb have supported our work in a number of important and innovative ways. Your company might consider supporting our work through:
- Nominating Look Ahead to benefit from payroll giving; making a donation or matching funds raised by employees through their own efforts.
- Organising a raffle at Christmas, or any other time of the year, or through holding an auction at a social event.
- Organising a fundraising event such as a concert, golf tournament, quiz night, dinner and dance or football tournament.
- Encouraging your staff to raise sponsorship through taking part in a sponsored walk, fun run, half or full marathon, bike ride, swimathon or triathlon.
- Sponsoring a Look Ahead fundraising event or publication.
- Providing auction and raffle prizes for our own fundraising events.
- Providing gifts in kind, for example, kitchen equipment for residents moving on to independent living and for life skill classes; sport equipment and musical instruments for interest groups; clothing; toiletries for a customer welcome pack on their arrival at a Look Ahead scheme; toys for children and books, CD's and DVD's for project libraries.
- Asking your staff to volunteer their time to provide support in a project. For example volunteers are needed to teach music, help with CV writing and basic IT skills or to decorate communal areas.
