Goldsmiths Choral Union supports Look Ahead in Christmas Appeal

A fabulous evening of music and carol singing took place on December 16 2009 at Cadogan Hall in Chelsea with members of Goldsmiths Choral Union (GCU).

Look Ahead Housing and Care's HR director, Valerie Raven-Hill, appealed to the audience to give generously in support of Look Ahead and the work it does. The event successfully raised £825 on the night.

On behalf of Look Ahead, Valerie thanked GCU, all its members and the audience for choosing to support Look Ahead at the Christmas Concert event.

Valerie said: "Look Ahead is dedicated to raising funds that contribute to a holistic approach to improving the lives of our customers by financing activities which are not eligible for statutory funding. The money raised will be put towards education and training activities in our homelessness services."

GCU is one of London’s leading amateur choirs with around 130 members. It was founded in 1932 and continues to perform at major central London venues under its present Music Director, Brian Wright.
